At Conde de los Andes, we are launching a new experience: the MAGA Foundation Special Visit, which will take place on the first Saturday of every month, because we believe that a visit can also become a way to help.

This will be a different kind of visit, designed not only to discover the history and underground cellars of Conde de los Andes, but also the projects supported by the MAGA Foundation in places such as Sierra Leone, Cambodia and the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

The experience will begin in the Foundation Cellar, a space created to introduce visitors to our stories, our projects and the people behind them through photographs and videos. There, we will taste one of the Foundation’s charity wines.

We will then explore more than 1.5 kilometres of historic underground cellars dating back to the 16th century, before finishing with a tasting of three wines: one from the MAGA Foundation and two from Conde de los Andes, accompanied by Iberian ham and chocolate truffles made with our wines.

Most importantly, 100% of the proceeds from this visit will be donated to the MAGA Foundation’s projects, as will the full amount raised from any charity wines purchased during the experience.

This collaboration is also part of everyday life at Conde de los Andes: 10% of the proceeds from our regular visits are donated to the Foundation, and every tour begins with a glass of Poipet, a white wine made from Albariño grapes, one of the charity wines linked to the MAGA Foundation’s projects. It is a way of beginning the visit by discovering, from the very first moment, the connection between wine and the Foundation’s social work.

A simple way to bring together wine, heritage and solidarity, making every visit leave behind more than just a good memory.

If you would like to enjoy this experience and discover the work of the MAGA Foundation first-hand, book your MAGA Foundation Special Visit and discover Conde de los Andes in a different way.

*About the MAGA Foundation

MAGA Foundationis a non-profit initiative founded by the Murúa Gangutia family in 2009, with the mission of supporting educational projects for children and young people in vulnerable situations. It currently carries out its work in Sierra Leone, Cambodia and the Democratic Republic of the Congo, based on the belief that education is one of the most powerful tools for providing real opportunities, hope and a better future. Because when a child gains access to education, the impact reaches far beyond that individual: it extends to their family and community and contributes to the progress of an entire country.
