Good time for Muriel and Viña Eguia recognition

The best accolade is the recognition of the public and that the consumer, consequently, buys our wines.

But support from critics helps a lot. And that's something we also have. We are in luck: in various competitions and prizes, also in guides and evaluations of wine critics, our wines are standing out. For three or four months, good news have not stopped reaching us. We synthesize the best.

Berliner Wine Trophy
The prestigious award that is held in Berlin with the endorsement of the OIV (International Wine and Viticulture Organization) has awarded with a Gold Medal two Viña Eguía wines, the Tempranillo 2019 and the Reserva 2016.

Mundus Vini
We continue with Viña Eguía, in this case Crianza 2017, which gets a Gold Medal in Mundus Vini, another German contest organized by the influential Meininger publishing house, which edits the essential Wine Business International magazine. In the same summer 2020 edition of Mundus Vini, Muriel Fincas de la Villa Reserva 2015 won a Silver Medal.

Concours Mondial de Bruxelles
The best news is the Grand Gold at the Brussels competition for Muriel Viñas Viejas Gran Reserva. It is the highest recognition of the event, a fantastic accolade for a wine that is getting a lot of attention and success in the market.

James Suckling
Finally we go with the scores of Suckling, one of the most influential American critics. In September 2020, he tasted several of our wines and scored 94 fantastic points for Viña Muriel's Gran ReservaGarnacha ("Gorgeous") and Gran Reserva Tempranillo ("Refined and beautiful").
